Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to any proposal, quote or project with Salisbury Media.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern any proposal, quote, or engagement between Salisbury Media Group Ltd, trading as Salisbury Media (“we”, “us”), company registration number 15694909, VAT registration number 466884630, and any client (“you”, “the client”). By instructing us to begin work, you accept these Terms.
2. Services
We provide branding and identity, web design and development, social media content, and print design and production services, along with related specialist work. The exact scope of any project is set out in a written proposal or quote agreed with you before work begins.
3. Quotes and pricing
All projects are quoted on a fixed-scope basis. Your proposal will set out what is included, the price, and the payment schedule. Unless stated otherwise, quoted prices are exclusive of VAT, which is charged at the applicable rate. Any work requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted and agreed separately before we proceed.
4. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is payable before work begins, with the balance due on completion or to an agreed milestone schedule. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts and to charge reasonable interest on late payments in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Revisions
Projects typically include two structured rounds of feedback per design stage, as set out in your proposal. Additional revisions, new concepts, or changes to the original brief are quoted and agreed separately, so the scope stays clear for both parties.
6. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide timely feedback, content, access, and approvals reasonably needed for us to deliver the project on schedule. Delays in providing these may affect project timelines.
7. Intellectual property and ownership
Ownership of final, approved deliverables transfers to you once the project is paid in full. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio, website and marketing materials, unless you request confidentiality in writing and we agree to it. Any third-party assets used in your project (such as licensed fonts, stock imagery, or plugins) remain subject to their own licence terms, which we will make clear where relevant.
8. Cancellation and termination
Either party may terminate an active project with written notice. You remain responsible for payment of all work completed and reasonably incurred costs up to the date of termination. Any deposit paid is non-refundable once work has begun, unless we are unable to deliver the agreed scope.
9. Liability
We will carry out our services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business opportunity.
10. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties, other than to freelance specialists working under confidentiality on your project, without your consent.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time your proposal is agreed will apply to that project.
