Savage brand identity and Instagram templates by Salisbury Media

A brand built to stop the scroll.

How we gave Savage a bold identity and an Instagram system that keeps every post on brand.

Scope of project

What We Were Solving

The challenge

In beauty, Instagram is the shop window. Clients scroll a feed, judge the work in seconds and book or move on. Most studios post great work in a feed that looks like five different businesses.

Savage needed a brand with real attitude and a feed that looked consistent every single day, without the owner spending hours designing posts between appointments.

How We Got There

The process

1

Discovery

We got under the skin of the studio: the clients it wants, the looks it's known for and the attitude behind the name.

2

Identity design

We built the logo and identity as one system, so the mark works on a story, a price board or a shopfront. See our branding across North Wales.

3

Template system

We designed story and feed templates so every post, from a new look to an offer, lands on brand without starting from scratch.

4

Ongoing content

We then took on social media management, keeping the feed consistent month after month.

Our Reasoning

The thinking behind the final direction

1

Live up to the name.

A studio called Savage can't look timid. The identity had to carry the confidence the name promises, on every story, post and price list.

2

Let the work be the hero.

Templates frame the makeup rather than compete with it, so the client's face does the selling.

3

Consistency beats volume.

A feed that looks like one brand builds trust faster than a feed that posts more.

Proof

The outcome

A bold identity and a template system that keeps Savage’s Instagram consistent and instantly recognisable.
