Bold flavour, bolder brand, and a site that sells it.
How we built Burrito Picante a full identity, from logo and illustrated marks to a loyalty card, menu and website.
The challenge
Street food and Mexican-inspired brands live or die on personality. The food might be great, but if the brand is bland nobody walks in to find out, and nobody comes back without a reason.
Burrito Picante needed an identity with heat, a reason to return, and a website that made people hungry.
The process
Discovery
The menu, the customer and the attitude.
Identity and illustrated marks
Logo, colour system and a family of illustrated marks for flexibility. See our branding across North Wales.
Loyalty and in-store
A loyalty card and in-store collateral that give customers a reason to come back.
Menu
Menu layout built in the same system.
Website
A website designed around the menu, with direction for product photography. More on our web design in North Wales.
The thinking behind the final direction
Personality is the product.
In street food the brand has to be as loud as the flavour, so the colour system and illustrations do the shouting.
Illustrated marks give range.
A family of marks lets the brand play across cups, cards and social without repeating the logo everywhere.
Loyalty is design too.
A loyalty card people want in their wallet keeps them coming back.
The outcome
A complete identity, loyalty system, menu and website, all carrying the same heat.
